About Body Connection Nutrition and Yoga
Body Connection Nutrition and Yoga is a consulting company whose premise is to integrate body, mind and soul into the traditional treatment model for those struggling with eating and body issues, addictions and trauma. As a Clinical Nutritionist, Exercise Physiologist, Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist I have created a holistic model for recovery that allows for change and transformation.

Maria co-authored the article, “Body Image Disturbance in Obese Outpatients Before and After Weight Loss in Relation to Race, Gender, Binge Eating and Age of Onset of Obesity”. The article appeared in the International Journal of Eating Disorders in 2002.
